Mint (Herold / Wilcoxson) from Tempe, Arizona produces progressive dance music. This duo began making music together in 1998 with their first release, Black Belt Academy, which quickly gave rise to their production skills.
Mint's live set is a very dynamic, energetic performance incorporating solid sequencing while playing live melodies and sound.

Mint's music has been featured in two independent movies, a TV commercial and a UK music technology magazine, Future Music, September 2000.

Our biggest satisfaction comes from the ability to make people dance, to make them feel something more than just a pounding kick or a hard bassline but to provide a melody that will last through the night.

During the past two years, Mint has enjoyed being part of regional events that have included: Paul Oakenfold, Deepsky, D:Fuse, John Kelley, Markus Schultz, Andy Hughes, Omar Santana, Nigel Richards, Diesel Boy, Mike Dearborn, Jason Blakemore, Billy Nasty and Robert Oleysyck to name a few.

• Mint played a powerful set during the Perfecto Tour stop in Tucson that featured Paul Oakenfold and D:Fuse.

• The track "The Big Heist" was part of the on screen soundtrack for the movie "Hoop Soldiers," directed by Chris Rogers.

• The track "High Speed Chase" was licensed for the movie "Forever Midnight," directed by Nathan Blackwell.

Mint's live performance is one solid hour of continuous music, much like a DJ set, with tracks being mixed into each other.
